It's tax season again. Get the forms together, run some numbers, and see how things turned out. That works fine until that one year when you get knocked over with a tax bill you weren't expecting. It's kind of like driving through the rearview mirror. It's tough to see what's ahead and easy to be surprised. 

Years ago before I had any tax training, I hit one of those surprises myself. I started to build a few tax projections of my own and haven't had a tax surprise since. Now I work with clients on the same kinds of projections.
